Abode’s Latest Smart Home Apps Undergo A Major Revamp
Abode, a smart home company, recently revealed that it is working on developing new iPhone and Android apps. It has fixed the existing issues that it has with the available versions. Users can now sign up for the beta version.
When we reviewed the iota Security Kit we noted that the app was missing features and it just wasn’t a great experience. Now, Abode is working to fix that on both iPhone and Android.
With the new Abode app, users would be able to control their abode systems, system settings, and all automations right from your fingertips. It is designed to be a faster and more pleasant experience, built natively for iOS and Android. Thanks to this, you will now be able to control your smart security from anywhere.
Since the updates are quite big, you may find it a far better experience than before. Some changes include the introduction of new widgets, quick access to live feeds, and frequently used automation can be set up separately. Users can also easily switch between different accounts on the same device. Since the app is still in beta version, you may experience some bugs and issues. Reporting the issues will help the team fix it faster and more efficiently.
If you’re willing to deal with bugs and whatnot you can sign up for the betas now, with iPhone betas available via Testflight. If Android is your jam, head on over to the Play Store and do the thing.
