Amazon At The Smart Home Pop-Up: A Full Exhibition Of A Smart Home
Amazon is demonstrating how to create a smart home using Alexa-enabled gadgets in a London pop-up.
The setup has seven rooms, each featuring a specific area. This project is backed by Because. Visitors can walk around the place and interact with tech displayed by different companies, including Fitbit, Kutchenhaus, Drayton, Mercedes-Benz, Philips Hue, Omron, and Osmo. There is even a Fitbit voice-activated art installation showcasing the Versa 2 watch.
In the smart kitchen, guests would be able to interact with the voice-controlled appliances and see how the Amazon Echo devices work. The Philips Hue “Infinity garden” lets you experience a tastefully designed garden with stones, plants, and mirrors with lighting controlled by Alexa.
Kids can play and learn at the Osmo “treehouse” by interacting with the educational games system Osmo on Amazon Fire tablets. The bedroom has wireless blood pressure monitors and demos on how users can effectively manage their cardiovascular health. In the garage, you will see an audiovisual animation detailing the latest voice-controlled infotainment system. Not only this, but visitors would be able to win devices too!
