Amazon Unveils New Line Of Fire TV Products At IFA 2019
Amazon launched a range of new Fire TV products at IFA this year.
From the second-generation Fire TV Cube to the Grundig OLED-Fire TV Edition with Hands-Free Alexa, and some upgraded Fire TV Sticks in between, the company has a diverse range of new options.
While the second-gen Fire TV Cube has not changed much look-wise, it comes packed with a powerful six-core processor. Local Voice Control lets you verbally get tasks done. Thanks to the eight microphones and far-field voice sensor, you no longer need your remote. The Fire TV Cube features multi-directional infrared technology and HDMI CEC allowing you to control your smart home devices verbally and otherwise.
The Grundig OLED-Fire TV Edition is available only in Germany and Austria so far. With this, you can access Amazon Alexa and Fire TV hands-free. This TV is available in four models, with changes in far-field controls and dimensions. JVC-Fire TV Edition Smart 4K TV has an Alexa voice remote using which you can control your TV or connect it to an Echo device. Similar to the Grundig, you can ask Alexa to pull up your TV guide or read the latest match scores.
