CES Asia 2018 Showcases A.I. Innovation In The Field Of Smart Devices And Self-Driving Cars
The fourth edition of the Consumer Electronics Show was held in Shanghai for three days from June 13 to 15. The latest technology was showcased by more than 500 companies from across 80 companies.
This year’s four major show topics include vehicle technology, artificial intelligence (AI), mobile, as well as augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR). Other categories of interest that are sure to make an appearance include 5G networks, smart cities and homes, video gaming, 3D printing, robotics and more.
Baidu unveiled their work regarding AI in the field of smart home and autonomous driving. They are expected to talk about their new updates for Apollo, their autonomous driving platform. Alibaba, China’s biggest R&D spender, is planning on developing a Bluetooth mesh module.
A global electric vehicle startup company established by German Expats set up their headquarters in Nanjing recently. At CES Asia tomorrow, BYTON is believed to unveil their luxury sedan concept car. Huawei’s P20 Pro smartphone with three Leica cameras is expected to have all the spotlight on them. Huawei’s brand, Honor, also released two flagship phones in addition to other products. Apart from these, Lenovo is planning to share the innovation in the smartphone application technology and AI.
