Comcast’s Xfinity Camera Uses AI To Give Users What They Want Most: Video Of Their Pets At Home!
Comcast’s latest release includes an AI-powered pet filter on its Xfinity Camera that lets the user to check in on their pets at any time of the day. Users would be able to view their pets via an app on their smartphones.
A survey by Comcast found that owners liked to keep an eye on their furry friends and make sure they are happy and safe. As many as 93% of the respondents to the survey said that checking in on their pets is the best part of their day. Nearly 50% of them said that they checked in four or more times every day.
Comcast has worked on and released other AI-powered products as well including a voice-operated remote. There is also an option for continuous video recording and the data stored would be available for 7 to 10 days.
The continuous video recording service uses AI technology to zoom in on the activity and create a thumbnail image of the pet. User can then spend less time searching through hours of footage and just watch the clips with their pet.
