U.S. Army Captain Nick Vogt and Lauren Vogt, his wife celebrated the plans for their new house in September. It was built with assistance from the Gary Sinise Foundation. The couple, along with their young son, moved to their new house that was finished last week. They are now moving into a custom-made specially-adapted smart home. The couple is grateful and thanked everybody who was involved in building their home. They are happy about the support they have received from the community.
“Thank you,” Nick began. “Whether it’s financial, whether it was actual physical support given as far as building or helping build the home, or just that support where you’re encouraging it – encouraging this whole Gary Sinise Foundation, and ours in particular. We want to give them a big thank-you.”
The Gary Sinise Foundation has worked with and successfully completed more than 48 houses in the US. They have been involved in a total of 66 projects far. Some of them are in progress currently. The foundation believes that they must show their support to those who guard the nation and try to make their lives easier because they have sacrificed so much for the country.
