Google Continues To Be Awesome With New Features Such As ‘Continued Conversation’ For Their Smart Home Assistant
Google is always coming up with something or the other. Check out the latest Google’s apps and devices. Google is releasing the Personal Overview page for the Assistant app. It shows your name, the weather, reminders, location, and events from your calendar. You can also track stock tickers, reservations, and purchases.
Datally is an app which lets the user control their data usage. Datally now includes a Wi-Fi map that lets you find open networks. Networks can be tagged with a rating that tells you which ones to use or avoid when you’re back in the area.
Continued Conversation is a new feature by Google, thanks to which you no longer have to repeat the trigger phrase before every command. It has an eight-second window within which it will respond without the trigger.
Continued Conversation is toggled off by default. You can turn it on through either the Home or Assistant apps on a smartphone, tablet or Chromebook.
Google is now giving more control to the users over the information in their Google account. The search function is improved and there has come up a new support section as well. Google’s Messenger now supports Smart Reply for both text and emoji.
