Google Has Just Super-sized Your Smart Speaker With The Google Home Max
Google’s Home Max is a bigger version of its Home smart speaker. It was built to compete against Sonos and Apple’s HomePod. The Home Max has Google Assistant which looks a bit like the old Hi-Fi speaker by Apple. As far as specifications go, the Home Max has two 4.5-inch woofers with far-field microphones, supports Bluetooth, and Google Cast.
The Home Max has the ability to tune itself thanks to the Smart Sound feature, just like Apple’s HomePod. Smart Sound also helps to tune the device for any audio that you happen to be listening to including phone calls. It will also control the volume when needed, such as when other machines in the house are switched on, creating noise.
The company is also giving away 12 months of YouTube Music (ad-free) with every Home Max purchase. Google says the Home Max will retail for $399 and will be available in December for the new year.
