In The Latest Update By Hive, Smart Home Devices Get Support For HomeKit
Hive, the popular UK smart home provider, has a hub with which users can control a huge range of smart home devices such as lights, thermostats, smart plugs, and motions sensors. Many more have just been announced. It is also nice to know that they are commencing support for Apple HomeKit. With various users opting for a different assistant than the more popular ones – Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant – smart home providers across the globe are racing to ensure that they support anything new that comes into the market.
As of now…
…a handful of Hive devices — Hive Active Heating, Hive Active Lights and Hive Active Plugs — can now be controlled via Apple’s Home app, and customers can use HomeKit to control the smart home gadgets across Siri-compatible devices.
Though this integration comes quite late compared to other providers across the world, UK users have been waiting for this for a long time.
