Latest Survey Says 46% Of U.S. Consumers Feel Positive About AI
Recent surveys, studies, forecasts and other quantitative assessments of the progress and impact of AI highlight the growing respect for data and its uses by businesses everywhere and the increasingly positive—but still mixed—attitudes towards AI by US consumers.
89% of financial companies believe that the use of data and analytics helps in making better decisions and is the only source of differentiation. Nearly half of the US consumers have changed their perception about AI to a positive outlook with 24% hoping it would lead to better healthcare facilities. On the other hand, 37% are not happy with AI replacing teachers at school and 87% trust human doctors over robots.
In career websites, we see chatbot drives more leads, applications, and submission than websites without. About 92% of consumers are not happy with the fact that companies collect data about them while 88% are of the opinion that if one plans to use the internet, they are signing away their right to privacy. With AI becoming part of so many industries, tech giants like Google, Intel, Microsoft and more have invested in AI startups, coming to a total of about $10.6 billion in 2019. The market is only set to grow further.
