Link Your Google Home Speakers With Your Computers And TVs For Even Better Sound, And Control
Google Home and Nest Home smart speakers are great devices with the company releasing a new update recently. Users can now create left/right stereo speaker pairings increasing the usage possibilities. You can now use your Google Home speaker to broadcast a reminder or start a routine.
Soundbars are no longer necessary. It is quite a simple task to pair your speakers in stereo which will allow you to experience a three-dimensional sound. To do this, you will first have to create a speaker pair using two Google Home devices, assigning them to right and left channels. Once the pair shows up on the Google Home app, you can connect it to your TV or computer easily.
One thing you might want to note here is that only the left speaker can listen and respond to your voice commands. While you can pair any two Google Home speakers, you cannot mix and match the models. The ideal way to connect your smart TV or computer to your Google Home speaker group would be via Bluetooth.
If your computer doesn’t have Bluetooth, there’s a workaround for that too: You can stream audio from the Chrome browser to your Google Home over Wi-Fi.
