Mesh Wi-Fi Systems Are Key To Building A Smart Home Without Dead Zones
If you own a large house, chances are you would have struggled with getting Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the house.
Mesh Wi-Fi systems basically comprise several router-like devices that blanket your home with Wi-Fi. Mesh systems are similar to Wi-Fi extenders, only they don't require several network names or other quirks. All you need to do is plug the units in and follow the app's instructions. You then manage the entire network instead of each device individually.
TP-Link released their latest innovation – the Deco M9 Plus. It has three connected units covering 5,500 square feet and is easy to set up. The speed test performs quite well. The farthest spots away still receive connection though the speed is considerably less. There will not be dead spots.
The system claims to be able to provide 100 devices Wi-Fi internet access at once. There is no lag seen while streaming, even when multiple devices stream at the same time. There is also a Deco app which has features like antivirus protection, parental controls, and controlling smart home devices.
Though it is a bit more expensive than other routers, it is well worth the money. A great benefit is that the TP-Link Deco M9 Plus Home Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System also works as a smart home hub.
