New Streaming Service? Much Improved Siri? Apple’s Future Plans Remain Under Lock And Key As Fans Await Their Next Big Product Plans
Not every company is up for sharing their plans for the future and Apple keeps its plans under covers till the last possible moment. With the release of Apple TV streaming service, it is rumored that a new device is in the making. The current Apple TV 4K is an excellent streamer but the lack of a USB-A port definitely makes things harder.
Just as expected, Apple TV 4K is one of the most expensive ones in the market. With Apple gradually breaking down its walled garden, more and more options begin to surface. Apple didn’t have a lot of opportunities to bring down the cost as its revenue path is quite narrow. But, if the company decides to use advertising as an option, it could afford to sell products much more cheaply.
Apple’s forthcoming TV service will reportedly include multiple subscription options, an advertising component, and the ability to watch your content almost anywhere.
The new TV might use MoCA, thanks to which you can securely stream audio and video via a coaxial cable. Siri’s will also show up with improved capabilities. You might even see a fingerprint scanner on future Apple TV remotes, and you can access them via your iPhone as well. Chances are low that there might be a USB port, given how reluctant Apple is about supporting external media.
