Philips Is Taking Huge Steps Towards Creating Health-Focused Smart Home Appliances To Help You Sleep And Eat Better
Philips launched a line of its latest smart home appliances focused on health and well-being. Every step taken towards establishing a more streamlined connectivity between the devices make a smart home more intelligent and more convenient for the user. Smart speakers like Amazon Alexa have changed the game.
The first, Philips SmartSleep, is a headband that uses dual sensors to track your level of sleep, and emits quiet audio tones that can reportedly lengthen your period of ‘deep sleep’.
All the tracking details will be available for your perusal on your app.
Intelligent Blender by Philips is basically a food processor with smart capabilities. It has an inbuilt scale and is connected to NutriU, an app that tells you the nutritional information, and the intake of calorie and sugar. The DiamondClean toothbrush can be linked to the Sonicare app which examines your brushing methods and provides suggestions.
All the above-mentioned three products will be released globally in 2019. However, SmartSleep is already available in Germany and the DiamondClean toothbrush in the US.
