SysMech And Energy Systems Catapult Work Together To Create Living Lab 2.0
UK-based software development company SysMech has been selected by Energy Systems Catapult (ESC) to help deliver a cloud-based digital integration platform for its “real-world test environment”, Living Lab 2.0.
SysMech is an expert in delivering large-scale big data solutions using real-time analytics for telecommunications operators, enterprise infrastructure monitoring projects, and high-volume IoT applications. Living Lab 2.0 is the first of its kind since it will be an agile and scalable real-world test environment for businesses dipping their toes in the home energy market. Thanks to this, existing homes in the UK can now become digitally connected smart homes.
It will offer the users a safe space to trial with real consumers, to reduce actual risks. This will allow them to gain insights and let them transform the market towards a net-zero carbon future. One of the major parts about this is that it will have a cloud-based digital integration platform that acts as the mediator between the smart devices and the innovations under test.
SysMech’s Zen product will offer interoperability and scalability to a wide range of products on trial. In the beginning, the company aims to focus on low-carbon heating and transport innovations and later, expand according to the market needs.
