With $4.75M Funding, RentTech Startup Simplifyy Aims At 500% Growth
Simplifyy’s co-founders have decided to invest nearly $5 million in the RentTech startup. Since the startup’s founders have a lot of industry experience, the venture has boosted the confidence of the investors.
Simplifyy has developed the first end-to-end total solution for multifamily property owners to reduce expenses, increase revenues, and ultimately enhance ROI.
After working in closed beta since 2018, the company launched recently in October with investment from tech expert Jake Lisby, multifamily owner-operator Paul Worcester, and apartment/technology investor Russell Reitz. For a start, the first phase will power over 500 multi-family units in Kansas City and the number is expected to increase to 3,000 units by the end of 2020.
Since property management companies spend a lot on improvements and wages, this will help them optimize the properties and save as well. Simplifyy Communities is free to residents which gives them free mobile applications, leasing, rent payment, screening, 24/7 tours and concierge, maintenance reviews, resident rewards, community engagement, and smart home technology via Homebase AI. This partnership is seen to be a strong way forward. The many features that are offered to the residents allow them better access to their unit.
