With A Simple Fan, Smart Plug, And Smart Sensor You Can Use HomeKit To Automate Your Room’s Temperature
Temperature based automations, such as the ability to turn on a fan when a room’s temperature rises above your comfort level, is a little more complicated than just using the standard Home App.
You will have to use a HomeKit App by a third-party developer. It is available for free on the App Store. Users will also require sensors or other gadgets, such as a smart plug, temperature sensor, or thermostat.
You can automate the temperature in HomeKit by using Eve for HomeKit App. In Scenes, tap on Add Rule, which will let you add a Trigger. You can now select the temperature for a specific room and set the condition. You can add multiple Scenes as well. Add a name for the rule and save it.
Now that you have created your automation, you can just sit back and enjoy as your house reaches a comfortable temperature. You can control a fan, heater, or even the thermostat itself.
