You’ve Spoken And They’ve Listened. More Efficient (And Courteous) Smart Home Assistant Features On The Way
Home assistants have become hugely popular. Google Home Assistant will now be able to respond to a series of commands and one will not have to say the trigger words every time. Google Assistant’s new update will most likely include a feature which will enable it to place phone calls and create appointments.
Many homeowners showed their concern that using commands to engage the home assistant are quite impolite in front of the kids. Google has addressed the problem by introducing a feature that would enable the home assistant to show appreciation when the user uses words like “please,” “thank you’, etc.
Alexa will get an update which will let her remember all importer data and never forget. Context Carryover is a new feature which will let the user ask a series of questions without needing to use the trigger phrase. With skills arbitration, users will be able to receive help on home tasks. The FreeTime integration update lets Alexa help the parents control and manage what the kids can do with the home assistant.
Apple AirPlay 2 will allow the users to control music via HomePod. The device is also set to receive an update which will refine it voice recognition feature.
