A More Aesthetically Pleasing Alexa App Is Aligned With That Of Amazon’s Newest Smart Devices
If you look at Amazon’s latest release of Alexa devices, you will see that Amazon has let go of utilitarian black plastic in favor of softer and more elegant fabric. The Alexa app is also getting revamped with better smart home controls and a more interactive design. Those who organize their smart home devices will be able to group them and handle them with specific controls.
Tap one of the cards representing a group of lights and you’ll see an expanded list of the devices in that group, with the option to toggle each individual device on or off.
The little icons present at the top signifies different categories of devices, such as Echo speakers, plugs, lights, and more. These controls also let the user manage group audios as well. Now, it is possible to synchronize multiple Echo speakers while playing an audio. The new design will be seen in the latest models of Echo Dot, Echo Plus and Echo Show.
