Building A Smart Car Creates A Seamless Integration For Your ‘Connected Life’. And Samsung Might Just Do It.
‘Seamless integration’ is a concept Samsung is placing a lot of emphasis on for the last couple of months. It is trying to make sure that the customers have all the convenience they need from the ecosystem. They are heading in the obvious direction of vehicle integration. Samsung feels that a car is just an extended place of living from a house.
They believe that there is the connected car industry. Over the next few years, it will include communication with the smart devices at the house and your smartphone. Samsung already gave us a peek at how a Samsung connected car will be like.
They revealed a Samsung ‘digital cockpit’ containing a tonne of tech, including dual screen display (one of which pops up) and an intriguing system which replaces the car’s mirrors. The SmartThings appears and briefly shows how the driver would be able to control their home appliances from the car screens.
The voice control would be Bixby and help increase convenience and safety. Thanks to multiple mentions of hardware, it looks like Samsung is thinking more along the lines of actually manufacturing them rather than just providing software solutions to automobile companies.
