Deals And Discounts A Month Earlier? Amazon’s Prime Day 2021 Could Be In June This Year!
Amazon Prime Day is the company’s big shopping event where massive sales and deals across all types of products can be seen across days. While the exact dates for Prime Day 2021 have not been confirmed yet, it looks like the event might be in June. This would be a month earlier than the usual July event.
The shift in date is being reported by Recode, which cited sources saying the sales event could come at the end of that month.
Prime Day is usually a summer occurrence, but the company did move the multi-day shopping event to the fall in 2020 as the pandemic was in full swing. The online retailer held Prime Day 2020 over two days in October last year. What happened last year has given rise to speculations that the Prime Day shopping event could be held twice – once in the summer as traditionally and the second round of sales in the fall. This would be amazing because it would give Amazon a sales boost and the customers could get some early holiday shopping done. In addition to other products across various categories, Amazon’s own products might be at the center, including its own smart home devices such as the Amazon Echo.
