Flight Check-In And Maps Integration Just A Few Of Google Assistant’s Newest Features Announced At CES 2019
Android smartphone users can use their voice and natural language voice commands to do things like share your ETA with a friend or loved one, search for places to stop along your route, or add a new stop to your journey.
Google Assistant in Google Maps is the latest upgrade. Not only this, but the users can also ask the Assistant to read their emails and messages and enable hands-free reply as well. Google Assistant with Maps could become smarter over time and be able to answer questions about local business depending on your preferences. Google Home speakers might even be able to tell you the bus timings and when you should get started!
Google Assistant’s upgrades include one that will help you check-in for your flight and get your boarding pass. Once you ask the Assistant to check-in for you, it will not ask you any more details but instead, pull them up from your Gmail account. The service will start off with United Airlines flights and hopefully, expand. Not only can the Assistant get you settled in, but it can also help you find hotels by taking information from popular providers like Expedia, Priceline, and Choice Hotels.
