Google Has Released Their First Home Hub Smart Display Just In Time For Amazon’s Newest Echo Show To Be Available
Smart display speakers are quite new in the market but have come a long way that they can do so much more than their initial counterparts. Let’s take a look at how Google Home Hub and Amazon Echo Show compare against each other.
Echo Show is heavier, bigger, has a larger display than Google Home Hub, and comes with a camera for video calling. Google announced that the company has specifically not included a camera keeping in mind the users’ privacy. Echo Show lets users use video calls to those having the Alexa app or those with Echo Spot or Echo Show device. The company is working on adding Skype as well.
If you own Google Nest’s security cameras or video doorbells, the Home Hub is a good choice for you. While Alexa has thousands of skills to help you personalize your experience, Google is still catching up.
With more than 50,000 skills available to download for Alexa, you can program your smart home device to work with different apps to hear news roundups, guided workouts, create grocery lists, and learn new recipes.
The Home Hub can only respond to orders that are preset. Home Hub allows streaming with YouTube and Echo Show with Hulu and Amazon Prime.
