Amazon is currently developing a robot with cloud service, smart voice, big data, internet of things, artificial intelligence and 5G technology. The robot is designed for home use as an advanced house manager that is able to connect to all sorts of smart devices and other technologies.
This robot would be able to establish a connection with IoT, AI, smart voice, smart home, cloud service, and big data analysis. It would be able to perform security surveillance, home health care, and entertainment streaming. The source said that Amazon’s R&D team has been working on developing the robot even since they licensed Alexa to other hardware companies.
Amazon jumped at the opportunity when it saw that there was a great lack of devices that could integrate the technologies, despite the smart device market boom. These robots are scheduled to be launched next year and maybe Amazon will stand a chance if it manages to create a smart home ecosystem.
