Echo Plus is great though screen-less and it lets you do almost everything with voice commands. However, Amazon decided to go ahead and give it a screen. While Amazon Echo tells you about your reminders and the to-do list, the visual aspect of the Echo Show lets you avoid keeping any physical notes. Echo Show also acts the perfect kitchen assistant.
A tiresome feature in Echo Plus is that you have to remember each list’s name and ask for it specifically or hear the complete list every time. On the good side, it comes with inbuilt recipe skills though they are not very impressive.
I didn’t have to wipe my hands to touch the trackpad every time I needed to wake the screen or scroll down.
The screen lets you watch a movie, make video calls, and watch the video camera feeds. However, the feature of ordering stuff from Amazon needs more work. The only good thing about this feature is that the device will automatically update you on the status of your order. The biggest drawback of the Echo Show is its sound quality.
