Pet Owners Will Love Neato’s New Smart Vacuum Lineup. So Will Your Wallet!
Neato Robotics has released two new vacuums at the IFA. The first one is the Botvac D4 Connected and is targeted at the budget shoppers. Botvac D6 Connected, on the other hand, is for those who have pets and want to keep their place tidy. Though the D6 is pricier than the D4, they seem to share most of the functions.
Both robots communicate with home Wi-Fi networks, and let you command them through the Neato mobile app (iOS, Android). You’ll get cleaning reports, along with maps of the ground they’ve covered in your house.
“No-Go Lines” is a new concept built into these machines. This means that you can program the machines against specific parts of your house. For instance, this could be the baby’s room, rugs, etc. While the D6 has the ability to work with multiple floor plans D4 does not. You will receive an air filter with a side brush with the D6. This will help while dealing with pet hair.
At the IFA, D7’s new capability came to light – Zone Cleaning. Users can specify smaller areas that need cleaning frequently. These could be high-traffic zones.
