Phones and mobile apps let the community workers record the health of the patients which are accessed by the doctors who could take immediate steps if needed, based on the condition and the reports uploaded. Newer technologies like wearable and implantable devices are making it possible for transmitting real-time data.

This is where machine learning comes in. With health monitoring devices being developed in better options, such as smart jewelry, it is also working to remove the stigma attached from using such devices.
