When Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, showed up on the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast, he talked about a ‘Tesla Smart Home’ that had a better and more efficient model of air conditioning system.
When discussing solar energy and how the capacity for a Tesla solar roof to power an entire home is dependent on the home’s energy efficiency, Musk started getting into the idea of a smarter air conditioning system.
Elon Musk said that the system should predict the point of time you will get home and cool the room you will use. The system should be able to do this by observing patterns.
If this smart air conditioning system is linked to your car, it will even figure out when you will get home and cool the place only at that point so as to save energy. He also said they already are equipped with the ability to track Tesla automobiles via their app. Interacting with a smarter air conditioning system was the next work here.
