The Airstream camping trailer is a classic option and the company seems to be willing to explore their smart home tech options. Their new Nest camping trailer is made of strong fiberglass and costs half their usual price.
The Nest version of Airstream’s camper even comes with Bluetooth-controlled LED lights that can change color and pulsate with music.
Last month, the company launched its smart home solution for all their 2019 Airstream Classic trailers called the Airstream Smart Control. This works with an app called the Airstream Connected that can be used to set the temperature, control the lights and the vent fans, and to retract the awning. It can also monitor the water levels and the battery voltage. Another feature is that it can help the lost campers locate their RV with GPS in a jiffy. The roof-mounted antenna makes sure that the campers get excellent Wi-Fi and cellular signals. Each trailer comes with an AT&T modem with 4G LTE data. The app will also offer you a checklist to ensure you have everything you need.
