Yale’s New Security Alarm System Syncs With Amazon’s Alexa
Yale launched their new Yale Sync Alarm for the European markets at the IFA 2018 tech show held in Berlin. It comes after the Yale Smart Home Alarm system.
As new functions, Yale integrated Sync with Amazon’s Alexa to let people use voice commands to turn the alarm system on and off and to check if windows or doors are open.
This latest device is designed to work with Philips Hue smart lights. The lights will flash green whenever the alarm is switched on or off. In case the alarm goes off, the lights will repeatedly flash red.
As of now, this alarm system is available only in Europe. Nest x Yale lock was launched in the US earlier this year works well with the Nest Hello Doorbell to figure out faces and announce the visitors via your Google Home device. Yale UK also showcased their two models of Wi-Fi-connected cameras – one designed for indoors and the other for outdoors. It is also limited to the European market.
